Candlelight requires care.
- Always burn candles within sight.
- Never burn on or near anything flammable.
- Keep away from pets and children.
- Light candles in a draft-free room, away from fans, open windows or doorways.
- Never leave matches or debris within the candle.

Collect Leftover Beeswax
Candle wax scraps don’t belong in the trash. Beeswax is biodegradable and can be recycled infinitely. I collect all my beeswax scraps in a big pot. Once the big pot is filled I render the wax in water to get rid of impurities. Once again the wax is perfect for candle making and crafts.

Bloom
Sometimes a powdery coating appears on the exterior of beeswax. This occurs due to fluctuation in temperature. A bloomed candle is safe to burn, or this powdery coating can be removed using a soft dry cloth.

Why is my taper dripping?
Hand dipped tapers are drip-less when burned on a level surface in a draft-free environment. Keep tapers away from the airflow of fans, windows, doorways or high traffic areas for an optimal burn.
